Formed on Long Island, New York in 1991, Internal Bleeding is an American death metal band widely recognized as a pioneer of the slam death metal genre. Throughout their initial period, the band released four studio albums while undergoing significant lineup changes before disbanding in 2005. Following a reunion in 2011, Internal Bleeding has continued their musical career, releasing three additional studio albums since their return.
