Jack's Mannequin is an American rock band formed in 2004 in Orange County, California. The project originated as a solo endeavor for Andrew McMahon, the frontman of Something Corporate. Signed to Maverick Records, the band released their debut album Everything in Transit in August 2005, which peaked at number 37 on the Billboard 200. Their second album, The Glass Passenger, arrived in 2008 on Sire Records and achieved greater commercial success, selling 49,000 copies in its first week and reaching number eight on the Billboard 200. The band released their third album, People and Things, on October 4, 2011. Shortly after this release, McMahon announced he would discontinue recording under the Jack's Mannequin name and pursue music under his own name instead. In November 2015, McMahon announced a reunion, bringing back Jack's Mannequin for a tenth-anniversary tour of Everything In Transit. The band has since reunited for additional shows scheduled for 2024 and 2025.
