Willie "Jay" Lee Webb was an American country music singer born on February 12, 1937, and died on July 31, 1996. He is best known for his 1967 song "I Come Home A-Drinkin' (To a Worn-Out Wife Like You)," which was written as an answer song to his older sister Loretta Lynn's No. 1 hit from the same year titled "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin'." Webb's career in country music placed him in a unique position within the genre, particularly as the brother of one of country music's most successful artists.
