Formed in 2003, Job for a Cowboy is an American death metal band from Glendale, Arizona. The band's debut album Genesis was released in 2007, peaking at No. 54 on the US Billboard 200 and selling 13,000 copies in its first week. Their second album, Ruination, followed in 2009 and debuted at No. 42 on the Billboard 200 chart with 10,600 copies sold in the United States during its first week. The band currently comprises vocalist Jonny Davy, guitarists Tony Sannicandro and Al Glassman, and bassist Nick Schendzielos, with Davy being the only remaining founding member. Job for a Cowboy has performed at numerous international music festivals, including Sounds of the Underground, Download Festival, Mayhem Festival, Summer Slaughter, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Wacken Open Air. Loudwire has designated the band as one of deathcore's "Big Four" alongside Whitechapel, Thy Art is Murder, and Suicide Silence.
