Born Josie Jones in 1956, Josie Cotton is an American pop and rock singer. She is best known for her 1982 hits "Johnny Are You Queer?" and "He Could Be the One." "Johnny Are You Queer?" achieved notable popularity and was featured on the soundtracks to both Jackass Number Two and Valley Girl. "He Could Be the One" was also included on the Valley Girl soundtrack, further establishing Cotton's presence in film music during that era.
