Kamelot is an American power metal band formed in Tampa, Florida by Thomas Youngblood in 1987. Norwegian vocalist Roy Khan joined for the album Siége Perilous and collaborated on songwriting until his departure in 2011. Swedish singer Tommy Karevik was announced as the new vocalist in 2012 and first appeared on the album Silverthorn as main vocalist, co-songwriter, and lyricist. As of January 2026, the band has released thirteen studio albums, three live albums, two live DVDs, and twenty music videos.
