Lagwagon

Formed in 1990 from Goleta, California, just outside Santa Barbara, Lagwagon is an American punk rock band whose name derives from their tour van, which appeared on the back cover of their 1994 second album Trashed. Throughout their career, the band has released 12 projects through Fat Wreck Chords, including nine studio albums, one EP, one live album, and a collection of B-sides, compilation tracks and demos. While Lagwagon has never pursued nor achieved strong mainstream success, they have cultivated a devoted underground following across North America, Europe, and Asia. Their moderate success coincided with a broader surge of interest in punk rock during the 1990s, a movement shared by fellow California bands including Rancid, Green Day, and The Offspring. The band's song "May 16" gained additional exposure when it was featured in the popular video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.
