Lead into Gold is a side project created by Paul Barker, an American industrial musician. Barker is best known for his work as the bassist for the band Ministry and as one half of the Luxa/Pan production team, where he is credited as Hermes Pan. The project is primarily a solo endeavor by Barker, though it has benefited from occasional guest performances by his Ministry colleagues Al Jourgensen and Bill Rieflin. Stuart Zechman of the industrial band Stabbing Westward has also contributed guest performances to the project.
