Leæther Strip

Founded on January 13, 1988 by Claus Larsen, Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project that has significantly influenced the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres. The project was among the earliest and most prominent acts on Germany's Zoth Ommog record label before the label's closure in 1999. Following this transition, Larsen signed to Bloodline Records, though the label released only a single before ceasing operations. In 2005, Leæther Strip established a relationship with the Belgian-based label Alfa Matrix. Outside of Europe, Leæther Strip's music has been distributed through licensing agreements with U.S. labels Cleopatra Records and Metropolis Records. On June 3, 2011, Larsen announced his departure from Alfa Matrix to pursue self-released material going forward.
