Legion of Doom

About

Legion of Doom refers to multiple artists in the music industry. One notable act is a death metal and grindcore band from Greece that later evolved into black metal. The Greek band was formed in 1990 and released their first official demo, The Desecration, in 1994. Their debut full-length album, Kingdom of Endless Darkness, followed in 1995 on Soundphaze Records. The band continued to release new material throughout the late 1990s and 2000s, including their second album For Those of the Blood in 1997 via Hypervoera. To commemorate a decade of activity, Legion of Doom released A Decade of Darkness and Blood in 2000, which compiled their first two albums that had become difficult to find. Their third full-length studio album, God is Dead, was released in 2005. Additionally, there is a Philadelphia-based rap group that also operates under the Legion of Doom name, originally consisting of members Live, Charlie Bass, and DJ Ban.
