A group of supervillains, the Legion of Doom originated in Challenge of the Superfriends, an animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera based on DC Comics' Justice League. Since its initial appearance in the animated series, the Legion of Doom has been incorporated into the main DC Universe and has appeared across multiple media formats. The group can be found in comic books, as well as in further animated and live-action adaptations. Additionally, the Legion of Doom has been featured in video games.
