John Elias Villagran III, known professionally as LiL Lotus, is an American rapper and record producer from Dallas, Texas. Born March 1, 1994, he has established himself as a versatile artist across multiple musical projects. His discography includes two solo studio albums, four solo EPs, three collaborative EPs, two EPs with the alternative hip hop group Boyfriendz, and three EPs as a member of the post-hardcore band If I Die First. LiL Lotus began his career performing in various local Texas metalcore bands before launching an acoustic solo project in 2016 under the name Tremor. After sharing songs on SoundCloud, he became increasingly influenced by the emerging emo rap scene on the platform. This exposure led him to adopt the LiL Lotus moniker and connect with members and affiliates of GothBoiClique, establishing his presence in the contemporary rap and alternative music landscape.
