Lillian Axe is an American hard rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana. Originally formed in 1983, the group gained recognition through its major label albums including Lillian Axe, Love + War, Poetic Justice, and Psychoschizophrenia. Despite changes to the lineup over the years, the band remains active today. Currently, only two members from the original lineup continue with the group: guitarist Steve Blaze and bassist Michael "Maxx" Darby.
