Living Sacrifice

Living Sacrifice is an American Christian metal band that formed in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1989. The group released eight studio albums throughout their career, with their first three records issued under R.E.X. Records featuring original vocalist Darren Johnson. These early works showcased the band's evolution from thrash metal to death metal. Beginning with the 1997 album Reborn, released under Solid State Records, Living Sacrifice shifted toward groove metal and metalcore styles, with original guitarist Bruce Fitzhugh taking on vocal duties. The band disbanded in 2003 as members pursued other projects, and Solid State Records commemorated this period by releasing In Memoriam, a best-of compilation, in 2005. Living Sacrifice reformed in 2008 and released a two-song digital single titled Death Machine before recording their album The Infinite Order, which came out on January 26, 2010. Lance Garvin and Bruce Fitzhugh remain the two original members of the band.
