Living Weapon

About

Living Weapon is an artist drawing inspiration from fictional narratives in American comic books. The name references Weapon Plus, a clandestine program created by Grant Morrison during their run in New X-Men. Weapon Plus was designed as a fictional program focused on creating super-soldiers intended to fight the wars of the future, particularly in conflict scenarios between mutants and humans. The program became notable in Marvel Comics canon for establishing connections to various superhero origins. Weapon X, the most well-known installation from Weapon Plus, was originally conceived as the tenth iteration but eventually evolved into an independent program with similar military purposes. Morrison's introduction of Weapon Plus provided new context and backstory for several established Marvel Comics characters and their origins as super-soldiers, expanding the universe's mythology around enhanced individuals created for combat purposes.
