Elizabeth Catherine McAlpine is an American singer-songwriter, record producer and actress born on September 21, 1999. Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she first gained recognition by posting original songs and covers on SoundCloud and YouTube. In 2020, McAlpine released her debut studio album, Give Me a Minute, which received critical acclaim. Her second album, Five Seconds Flat, arrived in 2022 and marked a significant milestone when the TikTok-viral single "Ceilings" earned her first appearances on both the U.S. Billboard 200 and the Billboard Hot 100. Following a 2023 signing with RCA Records, she released her third studio album, Older, in 2024, led by the title track as the lead single. In 2025, McAlpine expanded into theater, portraying Nellie Collins in the Broadway premiere of Floyd Collins alongside Jeremy Jordan.
