Lordi

Lordi is a Finnish rock band from Rovaniemi that was formed in 1992 by Mr Lordi, the band's lead singer, songwriter, and costume maker. The group is renowned for wearing monster masks and incorporating horror elements with pyrotechnics into their concerts and music videos. Lordi achieved widespread fame in 2002 following the release of their hit single "Would You Love a Monsterman?" and gained international recognition by winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with their song "Hard Rock Hallelujah". Since 2002, the band has toured and recorded consistently, with Mr Lordi designing and upgrading the band's costumes and masks for each new album. Throughout their history, Lordi has experienced several changes to their lineup, though Mr Lordi has remained the sole constant member since the band's inception. The members of Lordi have expressed their preference to keep their unmasked identities private.
