Madball

Madball is an American New York hardcore band that originated in the late 1980s as a side project of Agnostic Front. The band developed when Agnostic Front's vocalist Roger Miret allowed his younger half-brother Freddy Cricien to take the microphone and perform lead vocals during Agnostic Front shows. Following Agnostic Front's disbandment in 1992, Madball became the members' main project, and many musicians who were never part of Agnostic Front joined the lineup. The band initially gained prominence with their 1994 debut album Set It Off. After three additional album releases, the group briefly disbanded in 2001 but returned the following year in 2002. Throughout their career, Madball has released nine studio albums and four EPs. The band is often recognized as an influential force in both the New York hardcore scene and the broader hardcore genre.
