Margarita Witch Cult

About

From Birmingham, UK, Margarita Witch Cult represents the latest evolution in the city's storied metal heritage. The band crafts a distinctive sound blending stoned sludge, demented thrash, and proto-metal weirdness into a merciless sonic assault. Their lo-fi cassette demo Witchfinder, released in early 2022, garnered international acclaim and led to performances at Desertfest London and a recording contract with HPS. Self-described as "disciples of the riff," the group has built a reputation for intense live performances across UK venues, captivating audiences with their heavy and unconventional approach to metal. The band consists of Jim Thing on bass and vocals, George Casual on drums and vocals, and Screamin' Scott Vincent handling vocals and guitars. Their releases are available on Bandcamp.
