Emekwanem Ogugua Biosah Jr., known professionally as Maxo Kream, is a Nigerian-American rapper born on March 29, 1990. He released his debut album Punken in 2018, followed by his major label debut Brandon Banks in 2019, which peaked at number 68 on the Billboard 200. Based in Houston, Texas, Maxo Kream is recognized for his honest lyricism that draws from his experiences growing up in poor neighborhoods. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous prominent artists including Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Tyler the Creator, A$AP Rocky, Don Toliver, J. Cole, Lil Uzi Vert, Megan Thee Stallion, Anderson .Paak, Suicideboys, Wale, Denzel Curry, BigXthaPlug, and Schoolboy Q. His younger brother, KCG Josh, is also a rapper.
