Metalocalypse: Dethklok

Dethklok is a melodic death metal virtual band created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha for the Adult Swim animated series Metalocalypse. Known for satirical lyrics, the band released The Dethalbum in 2007, followed by Dethalbum II in 2009 and Dethalbum III in 2012. A real band was established to perform live shows. After a five-year hiatus, Dethklok returned to perform at Adult Swim Festival 2019. Their fourth album, Dethalbum IV, was released in August 2023, accompanied by a soundtrack to the film Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar, followed by a USA tour.
