Formed on October 12, 1992, in Örebro, Sweden, this Swedish punk rock band was established by Nikola Šarčević, Mathias Färm, and Erik Ohlsson. The group expanded in early 1993 when drummer Fredrik Larzon joined the lineup. The band's distinctive name derives from the skateboard trick known as melancholy, reflecting the creative inspiration that shaped their identity from the beginning.
