Mary Ruth Maxted, professionally known as Mary Millington from 1974, was an English model and actress. She gained prominence following her appearance in the softcore film Sex is My Business, which led to her meeting publisher David Sullivan. Sullivan promoted her widely and featured her in the 1977 comedy Come Play with Me, which achieved a record-breaking four-year theatrical run. In her later years, Millington struggled with depression, police raids on her sex shop, drug addiction, and financial difficulties. She died at age 33 from an overdose of medicine and vodka.
