A groove metal composition by the American band Pantera, "Mouth for War" first appeared on the band's sixth album Vulgar Display of Power. The track served as the first single released from that album. Due to its popularity, the song was later included on the band's compilation album, The Best of Pantera: Far Beyond the Great Southern Cowboys' Vulgar Hits! The song gained additional exposure through the music video game industry, becoming available as downloadable content in both Rock Revolution and Rock Band 3 alongside other notable Pantera tracks including "Walk," "I'm Broken," and "5 Minutes Alone."
