About

MUNA is an American indie pop band consisting of three members: Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson. The group began their recording career with RCA Records, releasing their debut studio album About U in 2017. They followed this with their second studio album, Saves the World, in 2019, while still under the same label. In a shift from their major label partnership, MUNA signed with independent label Saddest Factory Records, which released their self-titled third studio album, Muna, in June 2022. The band's name is stylized in all capital letters as MUNA and is pronounced MOON-ə.
