The original incarnation of brutal Pennsylvania hardcore band Out To Win, Mushmouth was formed during the Summer of 1995 in Reading, PA. The band quickly gained a loyal following in the regional area and released a demo titled "Thick as Thieves" before beginning to play shows throughout the Northeast alongside notable acts such as Madball and Earth Crisis. Following the addition of a new vocalist, Mushmouth entered the studio to record their debut full-length album "Out To Win" for Triple Crown Records. In 2000, the band released their second full-length album "Lift The Curse" on the same label. In 2001, the band changed their name to Out To Win, experienced several lineup changes, and started developing new material. Their final release as a recorded project came in May of 2002 with an EP called "Persist And Destroy," also released through Triple Crown Records.
