Nailbomb

Formed in 1993, Nailbomb is an American heavy metal band created as a side project by Brazilian musician Max Cavalera of Sepultura and British musician Alex Newport of Fudge Tunnel. The band's sound blends industrial metal and thrash metal with elements of crust punk and sludge metal. Nailbomb released one studio album titled Point Blank and performed a warmup show followed by their only official gig at the 1995 Dynamo Open Air Festival. After this performance, the band disbanded and remained inactive for nearly three decades. In November 2024, Nailbomb reunited for the first time in 29 years, with a performance taking place in Tempe, Arizona.
