Naked Aggression is a punk band featured in The Decline of Western Civilization III, a 1998 American documentary film directed by Penelope Spheeris. The film chronicles the gutter punk lifestyle of homeless teenagers and represents the third installment in Spheeris's trilogy documenting life in Los Angeles at various points in time. The first film, released in 1981, focused on the punk rock scene from 1979 to 1981, while the second film, The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years, came out in 1988 and covered the Los Angeles heavy metal movement from 1986 to 1988. The 1998 documentary had a significant impact on director Spheeris, who subsequently began a relationship with someone she met during filming, became a foster parent, and eventually fostered five children.
