NEMOPHILA

About

Nemophila is a Japanese heavy metal band formed in Tokyo in 2019. The group consists of vocalist Mayu, guitarist Hazuki, bassist Haraguchi-san, and drummer Tamu Murata. The band initially gained attention through the release of three singles between 2020 and 2021. Their online presence grew significantly after uploading videos to YouTube, which helped them build a sizable multinational following. In June 2021, British record label JPU compiled these singles into the internationally released album Oiran: Extended Edition. Nemophila released their debut studio album, Revive, in December 2021, establishing themselves further in the heavy metal music scene. Their most recent album, Apple of My Eye, was released in January 2025.
