Nitzer Ebb

Formed in 1982, Nitzer Ebb is an English EBM group that originated from Essex. The band was established by school friends Vaughan "Bon" Harris, Douglas McCarthy, and David Gooday. Harris contributes programming, synthesizers, drums, and vocals to the group, while McCarthy handles vocals and Gooday plays drums. Originally, the band operated under the name La Comédie De La Mort before deciding to change their identity. They created their now-iconic name by cutting up words and letters and arranging them randomly, intentionally crafting something that sounded Germanic without using actual German words.
