Northlane is an Australian metalcore band from Blacktown, formed in 2009. The group features guitarists Jon Deiley and Josh Smith, drummer Nic Pettersen, and vocalist Marcus Bridge. They have released six studio albums including Discoveries, Singularity, Node, Mesmer, Alien, and Obsidian. Node achieved number-one status, while Singularity reached number three on the ARIA Albums Chart. The band has won the ARIA Music Award for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album three times, for Node in 2015, Mesmer in 2017, and Alien in 2019.
