Seth Edward Putnam was an American musician born on May 15, 1968, and died on June 11, 2011. He was best known as the founder, frontman, and sole consistent member of the grindcore band Anal Cunt. Putnam was also the singer for the band Vaginal Jesus. His musical work was characterized by high-pitched screamed vocals, and his lyrics were intentionally written to shock or blaspheme audiences. Throughout his career, he was involved in numerous side projects in addition to his work with his main bands.
