Omnium Gatherum is a Finnish melodic death metal band from Karhula, founded in the autumn of 1996. The band primarily works within the melodic death metal genre, though their discography demonstrates significant influences from progressive metal, particularly evident in their later albums. Their sound draws inspiration from Gothenburg-style bands including At the Gates, In Flames, Dissection, and Dark Tranquillity, while also incorporating influences from Iron Maiden, Death, Anathema, and Megadeth.
