Hailing from Iselin, New Jersey, Palisades is an American rock band with a dynamic history spanning over a decade. Originally formed in 2008 under the name Marilyn Is Dead, the group underwent a significant rebrand in August 2011, adopting the name Palisades and subsequently signing to Rise Records. Since their name change, the band has established themselves as prolific recording artists, releasing five studio albums that showcase their evolving sound. Their discography includes Outcasts in 2013, followed by Mind Games in 2015, a self-titled album released in 2017, Erase the Pain in 2018, and most recently Reaching Hypercritical, which arrived on July 22, 2022. Prior to their transition to Palisades, the band also released one self-produced album under their former identity. Their consistent output and evolution as musicians have solidified their presence in the rock music landscape.
