Formed in Los Angeles in 1994, this American rock band rose to prominence with their hit track "California," which served as the theme song for the TV series The O.C. The group announced a hiatus in 2008 after their final show that December, citing indefinite cessation of live performances and new recordings. Following sporadic reunion performances between 2011 and 2013, the band permanently reunited in 2019 and officially ended their hiatus.
