Pigs x7 is a British stoner metal band formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2012. The group released their debut album, Feed the Rats, on UK label Rocket Recordings in 2017, earning recognition from The Guardian as one of their "top 40 newcomers" for 2018. Their second album, King of Cowards, followed in 2018 and was praised by The Quietus as an "epic and sprawling record." The band practices and records at guitarist Sam Grant's studio, Blank Studios. In April 2020, they released their third album, Viscerals, which The Guardian subsequently listed among the twenty best albums of that year in their mid-year roundup. An LP of live tracks titled Off Cuts was released exclusively through Rough Trade record shops in November 2020. Most recently, the band announced their fifth studio album, Death Hilarious, on January 20, 2025, with the release arriving on April 4 of that year.
