PINKNOISE

About

Pinknoise is the late-night alter ego to the pop/rock band Skinny Alley, active in the early 2000s. The project features guitarist and producer Amyt Datta, who was born on 20 October 1960 and is based in Kolkata. Datta's musical career spans several decades, beginning with extensive touring as a guitarist with the rock band Shiva from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s. Beyond his work with Pinknoise, Datta has maintained an active solo career, often collaborating with Jivraj Singh of the musical group Parekh & Singh. His most recent album, The Red Plant, was released on 10 December 2021.
