Formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2011, POLIÇA is an American pop band known for their innovative sound and international touring presence. The group's core lineup features Channy Leaneagh on vocals and synth, Chris Bierden on bass, and Drew Christopherson and Ben Ivascu on drums, with producer Ryan Olson contributing in a studio capacity. The band has built an impressive discography across multiple labels, beginning with Give You the Ghost in 2012 and Shulamith in 2013 through Mom + Pop Music. They continued their output with United Crushers in 2016 before moving to Transgressive Records for Music For the Long Emergency in 2018. Their subsequent releases, When We Stay Alive in 2020 and Madness in 2022, came through Memphis Industries. In July 2025, POLIÇA announced their seventh studio album, Dreams Go, scheduled for release in October 2025.
