Founded in 1991, Powerman 5000 is an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. The group achieved its greatest commercial success with the 1999 album Tonight the Stars Revolt!, which reached number 29 on the Billboard 200 and produced the singles "When Worlds Collide" and "Nobody's Real". Frontman Spider One, younger brother of metal musician Rob Zombie, remains the only consistent member since the band's formation. Known for their evolving sound, the band has drawn inspiration from rap-rock, sci-fi, metal, punk, nu-metal, industrial, and electronic rock across their eleven studio albums.
