From Seattle, Washington, Regional Justice Center is an American hardcore band that takes its name from a jail facility in Kent, Washington. The group has built a discography spanning three full-length albums and several EPs. Their debut album, World of Inconvenience, arrived in 2018 through Closed Casket Activities and was inspired by frontman Ian Shelton's personal experience with an incarcerated family member. The band's second release, Crime and Punishment, followed in 2021, also on Closed Casket Activities. On September 20, 2024, the band released their third and final album, Freedom Sweet Freedom. This latest record marks a significant collaboration between Ian Shelton and his family member Max Shelton, who performs under the stage name Vatican Voss. Both brothers contributed as writers and performers on the album.
