Based in Paris, Rise of the Northstar is a French heavy metal band that formed in 2008. The group is known for blending heavy metal, hip-hop, and hardcore punk with Japanese pop culture influences. Vocalist Vithia is the sole original member of the band, which currently includes lead guitarist Eva-B, rhythm guitarist Air One, bassist Yoru, and drummer Phantom. The band has released two EPs: Tokyo Assault in 2010 and Demonstrating My Saiya Style in 2012. Their full-length album discography includes Welcame from 2014, The Legacy of Shi from 2018, Showdown from 2023, and Chapter 4: Red Falcon Super Battle! Neo Paris War!! released in 2025.
