Formed in Long Beach, California in 2009, Rival Sons is a rock band with strong ties to Nashville, Tennessee. The group features Jay Buchanan on lead vocals, Scott Holiday on guitar, Dave Beste on bass guitar, and Michael Miley on drums. The band has expanded its live performances with keyboard player Jesse Nason joining them on their most recent tour, while Todd Ögren accompanied them during previous touring cycles. Rival Sons is signed to Atlantic Records through Dave Cobb's Low Country Sound label, an imprint of Elektra. Throughout their career, the band has released eight albums and one EP, establishing themselves as a notable presence in rock music. Their work has earned recognition within the industry, as evidenced by two Grammy Award nominations received during their time as a recording artist.
