Technical death metal pioneers Rivers of Nihil hail from Reading, Pennsylvania. The band is currently signed to Metal Blade Records and has built an impressive discography consisting of two EPs and five studio albums. Their 2018 album Where Owls Know My Name achieved notable commercial success, debuting at number 61 on the Billboard 200 chart and selling 2,750 copies during its first week. Most recently, the band released their self-titled album Rivers of Nihil in 2025, continuing their legacy in the metal music scene.
