Scary Kids Scaring Kids is an American post-hardcore band that originated in Gilbert, Arizona in 2002. The group's name derives from a Cap'n Jazz song of the same name. During their initial run, the band released two studio albums with late lead vocalist Tyson Stevens: The City Sleeps in Flames in 2005 and their self-titled album Scary Kids Scaring Kids in 2007. The band concluded their first chapter following a farewell tour in 2010. After a nine-year hiatus, the group reunited in 2019 and subsequently released their third studio album, Out of Light, in 2022.
