Formed in New York in 2009, the band centers around an elaborate concept narrative featuring a fictional character named September, a human-grim reaper hybrid who navigates the worlds of the living and the dead. September's human side possesses the empathy to grant some human souls a second chance at life. The creative vision extends across multiple media platforms, including music, comic books, and live concert performances. The comic books associated with the project are published by Top Cow Productions Image Comics, expanding the story beyond the band's musical output. Through this integrated approach, the project blends music, visual storytelling, and performance art into a cohesive dark culture experience.
