Severed Reality is a song by American thrash metal band Warbringer, featured on their second album Waking into Nightmares. The album was released on May 19, 2009, in the United States and May 25, 2009, in Europe. Waking into Nightmares was produced by Gary Holt, the guitarist of thrash metal band Exodus. The album's cover art was created by Dan Seagrave. A music video was produced for Severed Reality, helping to promote the track. In its first week of release in the U.S., Waking into Nightmares sold approximately 2,000 copies.
