Formed in Sydney in 1997, Sick Puppies are an Australian rock band founded by bassist Emma Anzai and singer/guitarist Shimon Moore. The band released their debut album in 2001 and gained widespread recognition in 2006 when their song "All the Same" became a viral phenomenon, accumulating tens of millions of views as part of the Free Hugs Campaign. Following Moore's departure from the band in 2014, Bryan Scott joined as his replacement. The group has continued creating music, with their most recent album Wave the Bull released in March 2025.
