Formed in Azusa, California in 2009, Silent Planet is an American metalcore band whose name draws inspiration from C. S. Lewis' science fiction novel Out of the Silent Planet. The group's current lineup features vocalist Garrett Russell, guitarist and clean vocalist Mitchell Stark, drummer Alex Camarena, and bassist Nick Pocock. Operating as an independent act, the band has released five studio albums throughout their career. Their most recent release, Superbloom, came out on November 3, 2023.
