Silverhand is a legendary rockstar character from the 2020 action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077, developed by CD Projekt Red. Based on Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk tabletop game series, the character appears in the game's narrative set in the fictional metropolis of Night City in California. Silverhand is portrayed by Keanu Reeves and exists as a cybernetic engram on a biochip that becomes central to the game's plot. The character's consciousness interacts with the player character V throughout the game as they work together to confront the Arasaka Corporation. Cyberpunk 2077 was developed by a team of approximately 500 people using the REDengine 4 game engine and released across multiple platforms beginning in December 2020.
