From Long Island, New York, Skycamefalling is an American metalcore band that was originally formed in 1996. During their initial run, the band released three EPs and one full-length album between 1996 and 2003. The group experienced several lineup changes throughout this period, particularly affecting the drummer and bassist positions. These personnel shifts ultimately led to the band's dissolution in 2003. Following a seven-year hiatus, four of the five founding members reunited to revive the band in 2010.
