Snakes of Russia

About

Los Angeles-based producer Joseph Holiday creates music under the moniker Snakes of Russia, crafting cinematic instrumental electronic music through hazy dark sound design, low end rumble, and rolling downtempo beats. His compositions evoke a dystopian landscape while maintaining a timeless quality that feels remarkably current. Holiday released his debut EP "At Home Alone With Lions" in early 2020, marking the beginning of an expanding body of work. Since then, he has pursued remixes, film work, and sound design projects for notable platforms including Ableton and Spitfire Audio. His artistic reach has also extended to collaboration with Berlin-based artist Robot Koch, demonstrating his ability to work across different creative disciplines and geographical locations.
